What Are You Craving?
Have you gotten honest with yourself recently? What are you craving in life?
Like ACTUALLY crave….
This COVID-19 crisis is gifting us a lot of time to get honest with ourselves. But how much of that timing are you allowing yourself to enjoy?
We all have cravings…
We all have things we crave or desire…. Sometimes we crave food (for me it’s always ice cream)… Sometimes we crave an action (like shopping, a walk, a bubble bath)… But can we dive deeper into those cravings?
Have you ever thought about what feeling or emotion that was behind that craving or desire?
This thought helps us move away from the attachment of an outcome and make choices based upon the feelings we are craving. It helps us to detach from the outcome and still get desired results!

Heres a way to exercise moving closer to what we desire.

What are you craving?
Let yourself be very luxurious about it…. Hold nothing back….
Next to each craving write the feeling or emotion that you're attaching to it.
What is one small way you can achieve that feeling or emotion today?
What this does is it allows us to move away from outcomes that we have NO control over and step towards emotions and feelings that we do.
It also allows us to step away from our habitual actions and create a more intentional way of life.
Treat Yourself…
When we remember that we only have one life to live in this ‘meat-suit’, AKA body, we are kinder on ourselves.
Instead of treating ourselves when we feel like we need to be rewarded, we can live our life knowing that we are here to love and be loved… That included loving ourselves.
