Enough Already! - Stop with the "shoulds"- do the ‘Want Tos’!

One of my teachers once said “I don’t believe in magic, but I do believe that thoughts are things.”

It is easy to feel the vibration on music. Certain songs have the power to evoke happiness, sadness, or fear (think JAWS).

Feeling the vibration of music and relating to it is simple. That same vibration is attached to specific words. Every word that we think or speak holds a certain vibration. Some words make us happy (example: ‘bubbles’ make me smile….) and some words addd a certain weight to a situation (example: ‘mandatory’).

Words are things we can tap into energetically (Look into Danielle LaPort’s Work) but they are also it is easy to overlook.

We '' SHOULD” all over ourselves!

We say should 1 zillion times per day.

Examples:

  • ‘I should lose 5lbs.’

  • ‘I should eat healthier’

  • ‘I should be farther along in life’

  • ‘I should exercise instead of watching my 5th episode of Queer Eye in a row’

And EVERYTIME you say “should” you take yourself out of the flow state. Your body takes on a lower vibration.

There is a simple way to combat that!

Challenge : Every time you say the word “SHOULD”, pause and think… can you change that phrase to “WANT TO” .

Example: I should eat a salad…. Should you? Or do you actually ‘want to’ because that salad will make you feel better?

What I found, most things I actually want to do… I want to be healthy. I want to feel better. I want to move my body. I just like to feel and make everything a lot harder than it needs to be….

So I challenge you to do the same thing, give up the word “should” for at least 24hours and see what happens! Let me know!
